Chief of Police, Adam Jordan
Chief Jordan is a West Virginia native who moved to the Central Ohio area in 2000 while working for the state as a police officer. Since beginning his law enforcement career in 1996, Chief Jordan has worked on local, county and state level agencies gaining experience at each agency. Along with working in law enforcement, Chief Jordan also worked as a firefighter for four years.
Chief Jordan began working with the Commercial Point Police Department in August of 2002 as a reserve officer, working his way up to become Chief of Police. While serving with this agency, he has attended Columbus State Community College for Law Enforcement Management, and numerous instructor level training courses through the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and teaching at other police agencies.

The Village of Commercial Point operates and maintains a Police Department. The purpose of having a police force is to preserve the peace, protect persons and property, and to uphold and enforce all ordinances of the Village of Commercial Point as well as criminal laws of the State of Ohio and the United States.
Our Police Department consists of a Police Chief (Adam Jordan) and 7 Police Officers. This provides 24 hours per day coverage for the Village for patrol services and investigation of crimes.
The Police Chief oversees the daily operations of the department. He is responsible for the scheduling, training and supervision of all of the department personnel. The Police Chief reports directly to the Mayor of the Village.
