The Village of Commercial Point operates and maintains a Police Department. The purpose of having a police force is to preserve the peace, protect persons and property, and to uphold and enforce all ordinances of the Village of Commercial Point as well as criminal laws of the State of Ohio and the United States.
Our Police Department consists of a Police Chief (Adam Jordan) and Police Officer (Kevin Kelly). There are also six auxiliary officers. All of the auxiliary members are required to report for duty for a minimum of sixteen hours a month to maintain their certification with the Village.
The Police Chief oversees the daily operations of the department. He is responsible for the scheduling, training and supervision of all of the department personnel. The Police Chief reports directly to the Mayor of the Village.
More information about the Police Department may be obtained during normal business hours at the Commercial Point Municipal Building which is located at 10 West Scioto Street. You may also call our office at (614) 877-9248 ext. 3 with any questions you may have.
